Are you passionate about animal welfare and able to give a little bit of your time on a regular basis to make a valuable difference to our animals’ lives?

We need reliable and committed volunteers to join us who will use their expertise and passion to help promote the activities of RATS and ensure people know about the animals they can adopt from us. 

At the moment we particularly need help with:

Website: ​​

• Creating/updating/developing pages on our WIX website 

• Identifying, investigating, and resolving technical issues 

• Identifying site improvements and implementing them 

• SEO

• Email marketing and mailers 

Design:

• Designing a range of marketing materials, from posters to badges, t-shirts to trolley key coins.

• Ensuring our communications are on-brand and follow key brand guidelines 

• Develop the brand 

• Proficient with Canva and professional graphics software

Video editing:

• Cutting together raw footage and adding music and sound effects to make interesting and powerful videos of our animals and activities 

• Adding text and graphics, and animation or visual effects 

• Making and posting TikTok videos

By joining us as a volunteer, you’ll develop new skills, increase your knowledge, and make a significant contribution to improving the lives of the RATS animals through our digital channels. You’ll also be part of a dedicated team of volunteers.

We’re looking for people with a passion for what they do and ability to commit a little of their time every week. Good IT skills, spelling and grammar are a must. 

Time expectation: 
Around 15-30 minutes per week on a regular basis - where possible.
